Paula has 25+ years experience in counselling with psychotherapy, language patterns and communication skills. This includes working with clients one to one, teaching seminars and workshops, facilitating groups and writing relevant corresponding documents. Paula is a published author and has over 15 years experience in writing and publishing.
Following a life-changing accident, Paula has turned her attention to writing and helping others both personally and professionally through the written word and creative workshops. She is currently studying at university for her Master of Arts in Creative Writing, considering doctoral research studies.

A separate entity to Busy Corner Books, Writing Well, is currently being developed. This is an exciting new charitable venture founded by Paula in May 2024 following her addressing the importance and value of personal/professional acknowledgment through sharing the written word and giving/receiving of constructive feedback from both a one-to-one or group connection. The ethos is well-being, growing in confidence and discovering true voice through writing.
Writing Well is not for profit, a gift to the community, currently self-funded. www.writingwell.net. Writing Well are in the process of ethical registration for Continuing Professional Development and Personal Development Courses fir professionals who work with clients and feel creativity through writing could help either themselves or their clients process. This is a private and professional service, set up to fund the low cost community offering, Writing Well.
