For Those Supporting Others

My background is firmly rooted in person-centred practice, where respect for the individual’s experience, pace, and meaning-making is central. I bring many years of experience in writing, communication, and reflective practice, supported by postgraduate study and ongoing professional formation.

My work includes analytical therapeutic creative writing; critique and analytical book reviews; story structure and story arcs; and sustained exploration of self on the page. This approach is particularly supportive for people who communicate, reflect, or process emotion more clearly through writing than through speech alone.

Alongside this, my current studies within a Professional Doctorate in Ministry continue to shape my work, grounding it in ethical reflection, attentive presence, and careful discernment. This is informed by experience of spiritual direction and reflective accompaniment, where holy listening, respect, and trust in the individual's own process are central. Together, these strands support individuals and professionals in working toward an authentic, congruent self — where written expression aligns with inner experience, without pressure to disclose, perform, or reach conclusions prematurely.

I work in a trauma-aware and neurodiversity-conscious way, valuing consent, choice, and pacing. Ongoing learning, supervision, and reflective practice are central to how I work.

My role is not to interpret or direct another person’s story, but to create the conditions in which insight, clarity, and self-understanding can emerge safely through writing.
