For Those Supporting Others - Our Continuing Professional Development and Personal Development Courses
My background is firmly rooted in faith-driven person-centred practice, where respect for the individual’s experience, pace, and meaning-making is central. I bring many years of experience in writing, communication, and reflective practice, supported by postgraduate study, and ongoing personal/professional formation. My main breakthrough was discovering the true value of the client's personal acknowledgement of self given the right environment, encouraging their own process while taking part in exercises and feedback, and having an outcome in mind, if possible.
Included within the courses are skills from,
🟢 analytical therapeutic creative writing;
🟢 language patterns and structure;
🟢 mentoring and facilitating; providing conditions for professional and personal growth;
🟢 exploration of self on the page. This approach can be supportive for people who communicate, reflect, or process emotions more clearly through writing than through speech alone. (please note our cpd courses are not yet available. Thank you for your patience. We hope to publish them within the next few weeks.)
My current doctoral studies: a DMin Doctorate in Ministry at St Mary's University, Twickenham: a decision discerned through holy listening and trust of my own capabilities and process.
Together, all the above strands support a person in working toward an authentic, congruent self — where written expression can align with inner experience, without pressure to disclose, perform, or reach premature conclusions.
I work in a trauma-aware and neurodiversity-conscious way, valuing consent, choice, and pacing. Ongoing learning, supervision, and reflective practice are central to how I work.
My role is not to interpret or direct another person’s story, but to create the conditions in which insight, clarity, and self-understanding can emerge safely through writing and exploration of choices.
