Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Services

Busy Corner Books provides reflective, creative, and educational services, which may include workshops, courses, group sessions, 1:1 facilitation, and organisational work, delivered online and/or in person.

All services are offered to adults aged 18 and over.

2. Booking and Payment

Payment is normally required at the time of booking in order to secure a place on any workshop, course, or session.

For organisational or commissioned work where a written agreement is in place, payment is due within one calendar month of completion of the agreed work, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Busy Corner Books reserves the right to decline or defer services where payment arrangements have not been met.

3. Cancellations by Participants

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session or start date are eligible for a refund.

Cancellations made within 48 hours are not normally refundable. Any refund offered in these circumstances is at the discretion of Busy Corner Books and will be considered on compassionate grounds only. Such refunds are not guaranteed.

4. Cancellations or Changes by Busy Corner Books

If Busy Corner Books needs to cancel or reschedule a session or service, participants will be offered either:

a full refund, or

an alternative date or arrangement, where possible

Busy Corner Books will not be liable for costs incurred beyond the fees paid.

5. Concessions and Reduced Fees

Busy Corner Books recognises that not all individuals are able to meet the full cost of services.

Where appropriate, and at the sole discretion of Busy Corner Books, fees may be reduced or waived for individuals who can provide evidence of financial hardship or receipt of means-tested benefits.

Concessions are:

limited

offered on a case-by-case basis

not an entitlement

Busy Corner Books reserves the right to decline concession requests.

6. Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for:

assessing their own readiness to engage

participating at a pace that feels safe for them

seeking additional support outside of Busy Corner Books where needed

Busy Corner Books does not provide therapy, counselling, diagnosis, or crisis support.

7. Intellectual Property

All written materials, exercises, resources, and content provided by Busy Corner Books remain the intellectual property of Busy Corner Books, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Materials are provided for personal or internal organisational use only and may not be reproduced, shared, published, or adapted for commercial use without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Busy Corner Books will take reasonable care in the delivery of its services but accepts no liability for outcomes arising from individual interpretation, use, or application of the material.

Participation is voluntary.

9. Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with the Busy Corner Books Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

Busy Corner Books reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions as required. The most current version will be published on the website.

These Terms & Conditions are intended to protect both participants and Busy Corner Books, and to support fair, respectful engagement.
